Robert J.Klee, Ph.D., J.D., a lecturer at the Yale School of the Environment and the Yale Law School and a former commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection, presented a very informative presentation on Monday, February 7 on Climate Change — how it affects birds among many other concerns. He shared with us his knowledge on the subject of Climate Change and what some of the reasons are for concern. National Audubon says, and he agrees, that we need to dramatically reduce carbon emissions and offset what we cannot eliminate, for instance by maintaining healthy forests or supporting sustainable agricultural practices. Robert provided many ideas and suggestions on what we, as individuals, can do in reducing the causes that affect Climate Change.
