Litchfield Hills Audubon Society

A local chapter of the National Audubon Society

The Litchfield Hills Audubon Society (LHAS), was charted in 1955 as a local chapter of the National Audubon Society. LHAS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving the Litchfield County and surrounding locals.

 

We offer programs, field trips and events that promote and teach conservation, awareness of environmental issues, wildlife management and the overall enjoyment of nature and all that it has to offer.

LHAS has benefitted 31 communities over the years by welcoming the public to participate in chapter offerings which include:
